3 Layout and function
All individual devices are delivered ready for
operation and have their own control unit.
The devices are pre-programmed from the factory.
Each device contains hermetically closed refrigerant
circuits, the components of which are technically
connected to each other permanently.
A device group consists of several individual devices
and is built in a modular design. A partition wall may
be required between the individual devices.
The design of the individual device models can vary.
Device models with brine circuit (water):
The waste heat generated in the device is discharged
via a brine circuit.
NOTICE
•
Material and property damage
due to using non-
approved components.
►
The connection to a brine circuit for cooling is
permitted only on devices of the manufacturer
AHT.
Device models with "Air"
mode
(additional
designation "AIR"):
The waste heat generated in the
device is discharged to the ambient air via an air
condenser.
Device models with the additional designation
“HYBRID”:
The devices can be connected to a
brine circuit and also operated in “AIR” mode.
NOTICE
•
Material and property damage
due to congestion
of the warm exhaust air (heat accumulation).
►
The exhaust air must be able to escape freely at
the top of the device.
►
Superstructures or suspended ceilings can be
attached directly to the device’s top edge, only in
agreement, with the manufacturer.
►
To blow out the warm air, at least 60 mm must
remain free between the ceiling and possibly
suspended marketing posters.
Shelves/display shelves can be expanded, reduced
or repositioned.
All devices are equipped with air intake grilles.
In the case of devices equipped with night blinds, the
correct position of the air intake grilles is a
prerequisite for the correct functioning of the device
(closing the night blind).
NOTICE
•
Material and property damage
due to faulty
position of the air intake grilles.
►
Daily inspection by operating staff of the correct
position of the air intake grille (see
→
Fig. 1).

Device models “ROLL-IN”
:
For easy and fast loading of goods with
- exchangeable roller containers.
- exchangeable pallets (with ROLL-IN GD 280 L/H).
For an illustration of this, see

Chapter 9.1.1
3.1 Automatic defrosting
All devices have automatic defrosting.
During automatic defrosting, the display shows
“-d-”
and the LED symbol “ ” (see
→
Chapter 4.3). The
status LED lights up yellow (see
→
Chapter 4.2).
The frequency, duration and time of the defrosting are
preset. The defrosting duration is 60 min. The
accumulated condensation water is collected in a
collection tray (bottom trough with drainage; see
→
Chapter 10.1.1 Fig. 12) and discharged via a
condensation water connection (see
→
Chapter 7).
CAUTION
Leakage of defrosted water.
Slipping hazard.
►
Check for puddle formation in
front of and below the device.
►
Remove spilled defrosted water
immediately.
During the defrosting process, a slight increase in
the temperature can occur on the temperature
display.
