How the averaging menus function :
The following averaging menus use some of the standard functions
such as averaging mode, cycle, measuring rate - appropriately repro-
grammed. Data output to the interface and memory is possible but
this must be configured. To also display the average value acquired
as it is being output a function channel M(t) must be activated on
channel M32/33/34 (see 7.2). This will stop any data logger recording
currently running; this will subsequently have to be reinitialized.

11.2.3 Averaging over time
To determine average values over a certain du-
ration there are 2 possibilities - either by pressing
the Start and Stop keys accordingly or by enter-
ing a duration for averaging which is started
manually but stops automatically. A measuring
point scan is always performed at start and stop
in order to record to memory the start value, end
value, and average value - each with the applica-
ble time-of-day (see 11.5).
