3.2) Removing/Fitting ear cushion
In the manual bag there is a couple of ear cuchions to
be installed on the cheek pads (1).
The ear cushion is installed on the cheek pad cen
-
tering its holes with the buttons on the cheek pad as
shown in the figures (2).
Then apply the cheek pad inside the helmet as de
-
scribed above.
After mounting the ear cushion, it is like in above fig
-
ure (4).
Proceed in the same way for the other side.
For removal, disengage the cheek pad from the but
-
tons, remove the ear cushions and assemble again the
cheek pads.
Make sure that the cheek pads are properly fastened
to the helmet.

Important for the safety of your helmet
Before attaching the cheek-pads to the skullcap,
pass both chinstrap tapes through the slots pro
-
vided in the cheek-pad (see photo “CORRECT”).
An incorrect assembly (photo “WRONG 1” and
“WRONG 2”) will reduce the rotational stability of
the helmet and may increase the risk of the hel
-
met coming off in an accident.
