Installing the Ferrite
Verify that the collision cell signal cable has a ferrite installed on it. This applies to
the 7000 and 7010 Series GC/MS.
1 Open the analyzer door cover to view the wiring harness and collision cell
board as shown in
Figure 12
2 Look at the wiring harness and the collision cell signal cable to see if it has a
ferrite on it already.
