7 Align the interposer over the socket on the target
system.
Note how the socket on the interposer is rotated 180° relative to the socket on
the target system. This is done so that the interposer will not interfere with
the target socket’s actuation mechanism.
The wings of the interposer will flex around the retention modules.
8 Gently wiggle the interposer until you feel the pins
fall into the holes of the socket.
9 Visually check that the bottom of the interposer is
flush with the top of the socket on the target
system.
