E7002, E7012, and E7014 Emergency Discharge Unit

Introduction

 

Safety

This equipment does not require any routine maintenance.

No parts of this equipment are designated as repairable 
by service personnel.

There are no significant risks of reciprocal interference 
posed by the presence of this equipment.

Do not situate this equipment in areas of high 
electromagnetic interference such as gradient amplifiers.

This unit has been preset to a voltage range suitable for 
the national supply. The unit has a selectable input 
voltage: 100V~; 120V~; 230V~; 240V~. Fuses F1 and F2 
must be rated to suit the input voltage:

If selected to 100V~ or 120V~, they must be rated at 
T250mAL 250V. 

If selected to 230V~ or 240V~, they must be rated at 
T100mAL 250V.

WA R N I N G

Isolate or disconnect equipment from mains supply before opening this 
unit for any reason. LIVE PARTS INSIDE.

 

This equipment must be connected to an earthed mains supply. 

 

For continued protection against risk of fire or electric shock, replace 
fuses with the same type, rating and UL listing.

WA R N I N G

This equipment is not suitable, and must not be used in areas with 
flammable mixtures.

WA R N I N G

If replacing the back-up batteries, follow the instructions in 

“Battery 

Care” 

on page 25. The batteries are of a lead acid type and must be 

disposed of at an appropriate recycling center.

C A U T I O N

This unit contains internal protection fuses. Follow the guidelines 
below before replacement of these devices. Only suitably trained 
personnel are permitted to remove covers on the equipment.

 

C A U T I O N

Do not position this equipment so that it is difficult to disconnect it 
from the mains supply.
