Starting and Running the Pump

DS40M Pump User Manual / 87-900-147-01(B)

Starting and Running the Pump

Before being put into service (refer to Figure 11), close the leak valve
(B), open vacuum valve (A) to the inlet port then turn the power
switch to “ON”. Then the pump starts beings to exhaust.

Never insert hands, fingers, or thin objects through the motor
opening.
