4. Maintenance
When the outside of the Agilent 4200 FlexScan FTIR system needs
cleaning, disconnect the USB cable and ensure that the battery
compartment is closed. Use a damp, soft cloth and a mild detergent
to wipe down the outside of the unit. Do not completely immerse the
4200 FlexScan in water. Although the main optical housing is sealed,
water can penetrate the electrical compartment.
