AIR CLEANER SERVICE (CONT’D)

Replacing The Filter Element (Cont’d)

Inner Filter

Remove the outer element.

NOTE: Make sure all sealing surfaces are free of dirt

and debris. Do not use compressed air to
remove dirt or debris

Figure 10-60-5

Remove the inner filter (Item 1) [Figure 10-60-5] and
install a new element.

Install the outer element.

Figure 10-60-6

Install the dust cover (Item 1) [Figure 10-60-6] and fasten.

Connect the filter housing clamps (Item 2) [Figure 10-60-
6].
