7. TROUBLESHOOTING

The DT1 is a double walled tank for transporting diesel fuel from one location to another. It is a simple and

reliable system that requires minimal maintenance.
In the following section, we have listed many of the problems, causes and solutions to the problems that

you may encounter.
If you encounter a problem that is difficult to solve, even after having read through this troubleshooting

section, please call your local distributor or manufacturer. Before you call, please have this Operator’s Manual

from you unit and serial number ready.

PROBLEM

CAUSE

SOLUTION

Pump will not run

Diesel fuel in tank
gaps

Water in tank
gaps

Latch lid opened
to weather

Keep lid closed

Loose fitting
Leaking coupler
Tank overfilled

Tighten fitting
Replace coupler
Keep an eye on gauge, do not overfill

No power
pump off

Connect power wires to 12 volt power source.
Turn pump on.
