The gas to the stove is controlled by a point light, control
knob and a safety feature called a flame supervision
device.
To gain access to the gas control knob, remove the
control cover (fig. 2).
The tap-knob bezel is marked with positions for OFF ( ● )
PILOT ( ) and a graduated section for minimum, and
maximum, gas rate (fig. 3).
The stove is fitted with a piezo spark ignitor.
NOTE: If the main burner or pilot are extinguished for
any reason, DO NOT attempt to relight the pilot for
three minutes.
Ensure that the electricity supply is connected and turned
on press the ON button located on the fan control box
(see Fig. 2) this will illuminate the light and the fan should
operate at high speed for approx. 15-20 seconds the light
will go off, the fan speed will reduce and the appliance
can be lit.
