Preparing mounting

Mounting the product
The process connection is not under pressure and the product is off.
NOTICE
DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT
•
Do not remove the packaging and the protective cap for protection of the dia-
phragm until immediately before installation.
•
During installation, avoid any contact of the diaphragm with other objects.
•
Mount the product with the specified tightening torque.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
1. Seal the connection
between the product and
the connection point using
a seal appropriate for the
medium and the pressure
to be measured, for exam-
ple, a copper gasket.
- The seal is not included
in the scope of delivery.
Verify that the sealing sur-
face of the mating part is
flawless.
2. Manually screw the prod-
uct into the mating thread.
3. Tighten the product with
an open ended spanner
(size 24) with a tightening
torque of 20 Nm maxi-
mum.
