7 Maintenance
7.1 Maintenance intervals
1. Perform a function test every three months (see chapter "Function test")
2. Clean the product every three months (see "Maintenance activities").
7.2 Maintenance activities
• Visual inspection for damage.
• Visual inspection of the smoke inlet for cleanliness (no dust).
• Vacuum the product.
• Clean the product with a wet cloth (do not open the filter insert).
7.2.1 Replacing the sensor head smoke alarm ASD
1. Loosen the bayonet joint between the sensor head smoke alarm ASD
and the wireless mounting base ASD 20.
2. Dispose of the sensor head smoke alarm ASD, see chapter "Decom-
missioning, disposal".
3. Remove the label with the CE mark from the new sensor head smoke
alarm ASD and keep it.
4. Turn the new sensor head smoke alarm ASD into the wireless mounting
base ASD 20 (clockwise).
- The sensor head smoke alarm ASD must snap in with a click (bayonet
joint).
