These operating instructions describe the wireless actuator AVD 30 (also
referred to as "product" in these operating instructions). These operating
instructions are part of the product.
Safety information
•
The product may only be opened, repaired or maintained by qualified
persons.
•
The product may only be used indoors in dry rooms.
•
The product must not be subjected to liquids.
•
During operation, the product must not be covered by objects, curtains,
drapes or similar and sufficient ventilation must be ensured.
•
The product must not be subjected to heavy mechanical loads, no
extreme temperatures and no heavy vibration.
•
Damages products may no longer be used.
Function principle
The product generates the electrical energy for operation from the
temperature difference between the heating circuit water and the ambient
air. The internal energy storage module provides enough energy for the
summer period and the transition periods.
Application area
The product is designed for the following and rooms:

Private residential rooms
•
Commercially used rooms
Recharging during operation may be necessary in infrequently heated
rooms. The product signals the energy requirement via radio
communication.
Mounting
The product can be mounted to radiator valves equipped with an M30 x 1.5
thread. Metal adapters are available via the internet or specialised shops
for mounting to valves with other fastening possibilities.
