Operation
The product communicates with the AFRISOhome gateway every 10
minutes to query the reference temperature:
•
The product controls the room temperature to the reference
temperature set via the AFRISOhome gateway.
If the reference temperature has been changed via the AFRISOhome
gateway and you want the new reference temperature to become active
immediately, i.e. not after the communication interval of 10 minutes,
proceed in the following manner:
 Briefly press the pushbutton of the product once.
Status LED
The status LED flashes in the case of the following functions:

Successful teach-in or communication

Failed teach-in to the remote station or failed communication with the
remote station
Event Result
No communication
with AFRISOhome
gateway
The product controls to the last reference temperature
transmitted.
No enough energy:
If the energy storage module is empty, the product
opens the radiator valve to 50 % and switches to idle
state.
As soon as enough hot heating water flows, the product
controls the heating again. The energy storage module
of the product can also be charged via the micro USB
connection.
Scaling:
In order to avoid scaling, the the product regularly
opens and closes the radiator valve at intervals of 3
weeks.
Frost protection: If the temperature is too low, the product automatically
sets the temperature to a value above the freezing
point.
Reset
In order to trigger a reset, press the pushbutton at the product and hold it
down until the red LED lights up and goes out again.
