TROUBLESHOOTING
Any modifi cation not authorized beforehand relieves the manufacturer of all responsibility.
All the spare parts used in repairs must be original ones and the accessories must be
approved by the manufacturer so as to be able to guarantee maximum safety of the
machines and systems in which they may be fi tted.
FAULT
CHECK
REMEDY
The motor does not start
and makes no noise.
• No ele ric power.
• Check the contactor on the electric
line.
• Plug not inserted.
• Check power connec on to the line.
• Automa c switch has .
• Reset the switch, check the cause.
• Float blocked.
• Check that the fl oat reaches ON
level.
• Thermal protec on has tripped.
• This resets automa cally (Single-
phase only.)
• Protec on fuses are burnt out.
• Replace the fuses with others of the
same type.
• Faulty motor or capacitor.
• Contact the nearest dealer.
The electropump does not
deliver.
• The intake grid or the pipes are
blocked.
• Remove the blockage.
• The impeller is worn or blocked.
• Change the impeller or remove the
blockage.
• The required head is higher than the
electropump characteris cs.
• Contact the nearest dealer.
• No-return valve blocked.
• Clean the valve and check its
opera on.
The electropump
works at a low fl ow rate.
• Ensure that the intake grid or the
delivery pipe are not partly blocked
• Remove any blockage.
• Ensure that the impeller is not
partly blocked or encrusted.
• Change the impeller or remove the
blockage.
• Ensure that the check valve (i fi ed)
is not partly clogged.
• Clean the valve and check its
opera on.
• Water level too low.
• Switch off the electropump.
• Wrong supply voltage.
• Feed the electropump with the
voltage indicated on the data plate.
• On three-phase motors, check tha
the direc on of rota on is correct.
• If necessary, invert the
connec on of two supply wires.
The electropump
does not stop.
The electropump
stops a er running for a
short me.
• The switch is not disac vated by
the fl oat.
• Ensure that the fl oat moves freely.
• The thermal overload protec on
device is stopping the electropump.
• Check that the liquid to be pumped
is not too dense as this could cause
overhea ng of the motor.
• Liquid temperature too high.
• The temperature exceeds the
technical limits of the electropump.
• Internal defect.
• Contact the nearest dealer.
