3.5 Positioning time
The travel time diagram refers to centric loads. Depending on the required
position tolerance, the settling time must be added to the travel time shown in
the diagram.
The table next to the diagram shows the load-dependent maximum settling
time* for a position tolerance of ±0.1° and ±0.015°. The values given apply to a
waiting time of 25ms. In the delivery state, the settling timeout is configured to
100ms. This means that it may have to be adjusted depending on the position
tolerance and load.
With a required position tolerance of ±0.4°, the drive is already stable within the
tolerance window at the end of the travel time, independent of the load. I.e. the
waiting time can be set to 0ms and the positioning time thus corresponds to the
travel time.
