TYPES OF STOPPING AND STARTING
During operation there can be voluntary or unforeseen conditions that stop the machine.
These are the possibilities:
- temporary stop (voluntary)
- electric black-out stop
- production end stop
- emergency stop
6.7.1
Temporary stop (voluntary)
It can occur for a brief work pause, a few minutes.
Do NOT press the START pedal.
Danger - Attention
The machine is still in operation, just press the START pedal to restart it.
To restart operation:
• Press the START pedal.
6.7.2
Electric black-out stop
In case of voluntary interruption of electric power supply, machine stops immediately.
The electric motors stop and the pneumatically operated components remain still in their position.
When electric power supply returns, the machine does not continue its operating cycle but remains still
in the same position.
To restart operation:
• press the START pedal to bring in phase the various machine members (rotating ring, pressure units)
(see “Putting the rotating ring in phase”);
• if necessary, remove the product to be wrapped or partially wrapped by the machine;
• if necessary, block the
fi
lm in the clamp (see “Blocking the
fi
lm in the clamp”).
The machine is ready to start a new operating cycle (see “Operation”).

PRODUCTION END STOP
This situation veri

ne use is over or when the machine remains inactive
or not attended to for a certain lapse of time.
