TROUBLESHOOTING

If you are experiencing a problem, please review the following information. If this does not correct the
issue please call our Product Management Department at 800-227-0196 for further assistance.

The power center doesn’t seem to be charging:

1.

Make sure that for the chosen charging method, the charging cable is firmly seated in
the charging port and it is connected to the power source correctly (120V AC, 12V DC or
solar).

2.

The Input Indicator on the LCD screen should be spinning and the Battery Indicator is
flashing.

3.

For 120V AC charging the LED on the charger should be on.

4.

For 12V DC charging make sure the fuse inside of the plug isn’t blown. If so, replace with
the same style fuse.

5.

For solar charging, make sure the panel is clean and in direct sunlight.

The power center isn’t running my electronic device:

1.

Make sure the Power Button is on and the LCD display is on. If it isn’t, the battery may be
too low and need recharging. Also check the fuse installation.

2.

Check the battery level. If the battery becomes too low, it will shut down all power outputs.
Recharge if needed.

3.

Depending on the device being operated, make sure the AC or DC power switch is on.

4.

If you try to operate a device that requires too much working wattage the power outputs
will automatically shut down. Unplug it and allow the unit to reset. Check the device’s
power watt requirements against the EnerPlex specifications for compatibility.

5.

Check the LCD display for an error message.

•

Low and High Temp Alarm:  If the EnerPlex is operating in an environment that is
either too warm or too cold the alarm will sound. Unplug all connected devices and
charges and move it to another location.

•

Battery Alarm:   The battery is malfunctioning. Immediately power-off and
disconnect all devices and chargers and let it cool down for several hours, then
restart.

•

Safe Mode:  The EnerPlex has detected an internal power output issue. Immediately
power-off and disconnect all devices and chargers. Let it cool down for several
hours, then restart.
