The UV bulb has an effective life of up to 2 years. The UV lamp operation indicator on the face of the unit will glow when the UV lamp is in use.
If the indicator does not glow and the unit has power, the ActivePure
®
Cell should be replaced.
NOTE: For optimal performance, we recommend the replace ment of the ActivePure
®
Cell every 2 years, even if the UV lamp appears to be operating normally.

6. Plug the new ActivePure® Cell into the base unit.
10. Reconnect power cord.
9. Secure with 4 screws.
7. Secure with 2 screws.
8. Insert the ActivePure® Cell and base plate into the unit.
