18. Assemble the nose gear strut as shown below.
Make sure the nose gear steering tiller set screw
is tightened firmly against the flat spot in the
wire nose gear strut. Push the lower collar firmly
against the nose gear mounting plate before
tightening the set screw to ensure there is no
vertical slop in the nose gear mounting plate.
19. Attach the pre bent nose gear steering pushrod
clevis to the nose gear steering tiller as shown
below.
20. Insert the nose gear steering pushrod up into the
right side of the fuse and reinstall the nose gear
mounting plate with the four screws.
21. Insert the elevator servo in the right servo hole
with the servo output arm to the rear. Insert the
rudder servo in the left hole with the servo output
arm forward. Mark the location of the servo
mounting holes.
