SETTING THE PROTECTED PARAMETER “SEASON”
The RePuro heat recovery unit can be selected to operate according to control logics SUMMER or WINTER. Both seasons offer a
series of control functions:
• Control on external air temperature: This logic avoid that too cold air (from 0°C to -15°C) risks freezing the heat exchanger. To
avoid this possibility it intervenes with the electric pre-heater (if present or enabled), or reduces in a gradual manner the supply
fan speed until it is switched off.
• Control of freecooling function: In situations that permit it the heat recovery unit has the capability of exhausting the room air
without passing through the heat exchanger. This avoids that the supply air to the room is heated or cooled by the exhaust air.
This operating mode could be particularly useful in the summer season in that the external air temperature could be lower than
the room temperature. In this case the use of external air, without any exchange of heat, permits cooling for free (freecooling).
To select the season it is necessary to enter in the password protected menu (as shown in paragraph 5.7), display the parameter
SEA, then pressing the MODE/SELECT key to enter in parameter modification mode. Use the navigation keys to set the desired
value (value 0 is the SUMMER season, value 1 is the WINTER season), then press the MODE/SELECT key again to confirm the selec-
tion and exit from the parameter modification mode.
The appearance of the SET icon shows that the system is
awaiting the modification of the parameter (default value
0 = SUMMER)
