Storage tank
The following tables underline the main
characteristics of hydraulic circuit com-
ponents, while the graphs on these pages
indicate the relative pressure drops.
The storage tanks with holes for electric
resistors are supplied with plastic plugs
for provisional sealing of the holes.
WARNING: Before starting installation,
fit the electric resistors. Should the resi-
stors not be required immediately, the
plastic plugs must be replaced with sui-
table metal plugs.
Maximun water content of installation
The table below gives the maximum
water content, in litres, of the
hydraulic plant, compatible with the
expansion tank capacity sup-plied stan-
dard. The values given in the table refer to
two maximum and minimum temperature
conditions. If the effective water con-tent
of the hydraulic plant (including storage
tank) exceeds the spe-cification in the
table at the working conditions, an addi-
tional expansion tank should be installed,
sized, using the normal selec-tion crite-
rion, with reference to the extra volume
of water. The table at the bottom of the
page offers the maximum plant con-tents
for other operating conditions with glycol
solutions. The values are obtained by
multiplying the reference value by the
correction factor in the table below.
