FIRST USE (WITHOUT FOOD)
1. Unpack the oven carefully and remove all of the
packaging material.
2. Wipe the oven and accessories with a damp cloth
and leave it to dry.
3. Remove all the accessories (cooking grate, baking
tray) from the oven.
4. Unwind the electricity cable, check it for damages
and then plug it into the plug socket.
5. Close the door.
6. Switch the mode selector (“MODE”) onto the
symbol .
7. Set the time control switch (“Timer Power”) onto
15 minutes and allow the oven to function during
this time without placing anything inside it.
Light smoke / odour emissions are possible during first
use. This is a normal occurrence which does not appear
during further use of the oven. Therefore, simply open
the window and allow the room to air.
OPERATION
• Once you have placed the food in the oven on
the baking tray or cooking grate, close the door.
• Please use the baking tray for high fat or moist
goods, therefore no fat or liquid will drip onto the
appliance.
• Switch the mode selector (“MODE”) onto the
desired function. For the lower heat function place
it onto the symbol and for the upper and lower
heaters use the symbol .
• After you have adjusted the mode selector
(“MODE”), turn the time control switch (“Timer
Power”) clockwise onto the desired time setting.
• It is recommended that you pre-heat the oven to
the desired temperature before baking. Once the
desired temperature has been reached, the ther-
mostat indicator lamp switches off.
• Use the door handle to open the hot glass door.
Please use oven gloves to remove the baking tray
and cooking grate. Always place hot baking trays
or cooking grates onto heat-resistant pads.
• Additionally, the baking time and power level
can be changed as desired during the baking pro-
cess. To do this, simply turn the time control switch
(“Timer Power”) in the corresponding direction.
• Please pay attention to the food producer’s
recommended cooking times for the relevant food’s
necessary baking time. These are given on the
packaging as standard. Discrepancies are conditio-
nal on weight, consistency and volume variations.
CLEANING
• Before each clean, allow the appliance to comple-
tely cool down and unplug the mains connection.
• Baking trays and cooking grates can be cleaned
like other kitchen utensils either by hand or in the
dishwasher.
• Do not use any metal brushes, scourers or other
hard objects to clean the oven, which could scratch
the oven’s surfaces. Only use a damp cloth.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
• Do not use any corrosive products (cleaning sprays)
to clean the aluminium wall on the interior of the
oven and do not scratch the walls with sharp or
pointed objects.
• Do not allow stains to dry. Clean the material as
soon as possible after use.
• Take care when cleaning to ensure that no food
residue is left in the gaps.
• Baking trays and cooking grates can be cleaned
lightly with a damp sponge or a dish brush and a
commercial cleaning product. Stubborn stains,
such as lime scale, can be removed with vinegar.
