Remove the battery compartment cover.
4.
Remove the batteries from the compartment.
Spent batteries must not be treated as ordinary household
waste. Take them to the appropriate recycling collection
point.
5.
Insert new batteries in the compartment, observing polarities.
6.
Replace the battery compartment cover and ensure it is completely and
correctly closed.
7. Screw the two captive screws back in.
Instrument date and time settings are saved for several minutes,
long enough for you to change the batteries. If, however, the
date and time are lost, the instrument will prompt you to reset
them when it is turned ON (see §1.4).
