Connection
Note:
Please ensure that the plug connections are fi rm.
Bad connections may lead to poor sound quality.

3 AUDIO OUTPUT
Outputs on the right and left for connection of the
front loudspeakers (
FRONT RIGHT/ LEFT
).
Output for connection of the centre loudspeaker
(
CENTER
).
Output for connection of the surround loudspeakers
on the right and left (
REAR RIGHT/ LEFT
).

5 FM Antenna

6 AM Antenna
For connection of an AM (MW) antenna.
7 ON /OFF Switch
This switch is used to turn the system on and off.
Correct connection is as follows:
When you have connected all loud speakers and devices
as described you can insert the mains plug of the sub-
woofer into a correctly installed 230 volt, 50 hertz power
socket.
Remote Control
Inserting the Batteries
The battery in the remote control is a long-life lithium bat-
tery. If the range of the remote control decreases, please
proceed as follows:
•
Open the battery compartment on the underside of
the remote control.
•
Replace the battery with a battery of the same type.
Please ensure the polarity is correct (see imprint on
the device holding the battery in place).
•
Now close the battery compartment.
Warning:
batteries are not to be disposed of together
with domestic wastes. Dispose of the used batteries at
the relevant collection bin or at your dealer’s.
Never throw batteries into the fi re.
When the remote control is used, care should be taken that
there are no objects between the remote control and the
central loudspeaker. (e.g. table, chair, etc.). These objects
prevent the infrared beam of the remote control from rea-
ching the receiver of the central loudspeaker. It is then not
possible to control the television with the remote control.
Buttons on the Remote Control
and Front Panel

Buttons for volume adjustment.
2 FRONT +/-
These buttons are used to adjust the volume of the
front loudspeakers.
3 BASS (SUBWOOFER) +/-
With these buttons you can set the volume of the
subwoofer.
4 SUR (SURROUND) +/-
With these buttons you can set the volume of the
surround loudspeakers.
5 /-
With these buttons you can set the volume of the
centre loudspeaker.
6 ST.BY
STANDBY
switch
ON/OFF.
Switches the system to the standby mode.
