The Protect NAS is made up of state-of-the-art, low-wear components and 
is practically maintenance-free as a result. However, in order to ensure its 
constant availability and operational safety, we recommend carrying out 
visual inspections and clearing dust from the air inlets/outlets on a regular 
basis (at least every 6 months). 
 
Caution! 
Work area protection and safety regulations must be observed. 

10.1  CHARGING THE BATTERY 

Regardless of the operating mode, the battery is charged automatically 
when the device is connected to the mains. The full charging time for the 
battery is approx. 6 hours. 

10.2  INSPECTIONS 

The following maintenance activities should be carried out:
