SLEEP button.
Setting the Alarm Time
1. Turn the device on.
2. Keep the MENU button pressed. The display shows “Full
Scan” in DAB operation and the “Software version” in
FM or AUX operation.
3. Press the MENU button repeatedly until “Set Alarm”
appears.
4. Press the SELECT / SNOOZE / SLEEP button. The display
shows “Choose Alarm” and “Alarm1”. Select “Alarm1”
or “Alarm2”.
5. Press the SELECT / SNOOZE / SLEEP button. “Alarm1
Status” appears in the display. The display shows “OFF”.
6. Select the setting “ON”.
7. The display shows “Alarm1 Time Set”. Now set the alarm
time.

Alarm1 Type:
Select the desired wake-up source. Select
from: BEEPER (beep), DAB, FM.
NOTE: Important!
If you select DAB or FM, do not forget to tune to the
desired station. The unit turns on with the station
received last.
NOTE:
If DAB or FM reception is not available, you are woken
by the buzzer. The display also shows “Not available”.

Alarm1 Volume
: Now select the volume for the wake-up.

Alarm1 Modus:
Select the time for the wake-up time
to be active. Select from: Daily, Weekdays, Weekends,
Once.
11. Then set the unit to standby.
The activated alarm function is indicated in the display by “ “.
When the alarm time is reached, the volume of the alarm
signal (DAB, FM, or beep) increases slowly to the set volume.
The volume and the station cannot be changed at a later
time.
NOTE:
If you should use both alarm times, only one alarm symbol
is displayed because of technical reasons.
Switching off the Alarm Signal
Press the POWER button to switch off the alarm signal.
Automatic Alarm Interval
The automatically set alarm function can be switched off for 6
minutes with the SELECT / SNOOZE / SLEEP button.
NOTE:
An activated snooze function is shown in the display by the
symbol “
Z
“.
Deactivate the Alarm Function
1. Proceed as shown in steps 1 to 5 of “Setting the Alarm
Time”.
2. Select “OFF” with the

/ TUNE

buttons.
Confirm with the SELECT / SNOOZE / SLEEP button.
Cleaning and maintenance
CAUTION:
Do
not
immerse the device in water.
• Disconnect the mains plug before cleaning.
• You may wipe off external stains, using a slightly damp
cloth without any additives.
