5 INSTALLATION
AND SETUP
A micro-SD card (up to 32GB) can be
installed in the handset to allow storage of
photos, recordings or other data.
5.1 Charge the battery
Warning:
Use only supplied/approved battery and
charger. Using others may be dangerous
and will invalidate approvals or warranty. A
battery must be fitted. Do not charge with
the back cover removed.
• Connect the charger lead firmly into the
micro-USB socket in the bottom edge
of the handset.
• Plug the mains power adapter into a
mains socket. If the handset is turned
on, “Charger connect” displays for a
few seconds, and the battery symbol
bars scroll to indicate that charging has
started. If the handset is turned off, a
battery symbol appears briefly with the
segments cycling to indicate charging
has started.
• Charging the battery may take up to 3
hours.
• If “Charger connect“ does not display,
disconnect and retry.
• If charging still fails, contact the
helpline.
• The battery is fully charged when
