ESP/ALBUM (8):
ESP in CD mode:
It fills the 60-second electronic me-
mory to protect against the jumping
of the CD. If the player is jolted,
the CD music data is read out
continuously from an intermediate
memory. Reading errors are correc-
ted subsequently in the interme-
diate memory. After the player has
been switched on this appears in the
display to show that the anti-shock
function has been activated and the
memory is being charged. Press the
ESP button if you want to deactivate
this function.
ALBUM function only in
MP3 mode:
When an MP3 CD is inserted, this
key is used to select the various
directories stored on the CD.
MODE (6):
The following functions can be
selected with the MODE key:
Press once =
„
“: the current track is repeated
continuously.
Press a second time =
„
ALL“: the whole CD is played
continuously.
Press a third time =
„INTRO“: The word „INTRO“
appears in the display (during
playback). Then press the
II
PLAY/PAUSE button (5/B). All tracks
are played for ten seconds.
Press a fourth time =
The word „SHUFF“ appears in the
display (during playback). If the
II
PLAY/PAUSE button is pressed, all
tracks are played back in random
order.
Press a fi fth time =
all the functions are reset.
The normal play mode is resumed.

Functions in Playback Mode of an MP3 CD:
Press once = :

Press twice = :

ALBUM“: The currently selec-
ted directory (the album) is repeated
continuously.
Press 3 times = :

Press 4 times = :
„INTRO“ see under section
„MODE“.
Press 5 times = :
„SHUFF“ see under section
„MODE“.
Press 6 times = :
All functions are cancelled. Normal
playback is resumed.
Programmed Play
1. Press
the
STOP key (4/C).
2. Press the PROG key (7).
3. PROG and „Cd 00“ (track number) fl ashes on the
display. Under this the storage location number P-01
can be seen.
4. In MP3 mode the number of the directory is shown
on the left and the track number on the right. Below
this you will see the storage location number P-01.
5. Use
the
/
I PREV/NEXT buttons (2/3 D/E) to
select the desired track and then press the PROG
button again.
6. In MP3 mode only the desired directory can be selec-
ted at fi rst. If you press a second time, you can select
the track number.
7. The display changes to memory slot 02.
8. Select the next track with the I
/
I PREV/NEXT
key and press the PROG key again. Repeat the
procedure until all the desired tracks are selected.
Press the
/ II PLAY/PAUSE key (5/B). The playback
starts. Press this button to pause briefl y the play-
back.
9. Press once the
STOP key to stop the playback
while retaining the program.
10. To resume the playback of the program press fi rst
the PROG key once and then the
/ II PLAY/PAUSE
key.
11. To delete the program, press the
STOP key twice
(The machine switches off) .
The device stops automatically once the entire sequence
of programmed tracks is completed. The programmed
sequence remains in the memory until the CD is taken
out of the CD deck or until the device is switched off.
It is possible to combine the pre-programmed tracks
with the MODE function. After you have programmed the
tracks and started the machine, please press the MODE
button up to fourth times so that the functions „
“, „
ALL“ and „INTRO“ can be used as described in the
section entitled „MODE“.
MP3 CDs
This machine of is able to play MP3 CDs. Up to 200
tracks can be compressed and stored on these CDs.
Your machine detects an MP3 CD automatically (the
word MP3 appears in the display). If you would like to
play one of these CDs, proceed as described under
„Playing CDs“. Tracks can be programmed as described
under „Playing Back Programmed Tracks“.
This device has been tested according to all relevant cur-
rent CE guidelines, such as electromagnetic compatibili-
ty and low voltage directives, and has been constructed
in accordance with the latest safety regulations.
