You transmit commands to the DVD-Player using the remote control. It
is important that the end of the remote control is pointed toward the
DVD-Player.
1.
Insert the CD/DVD with the printed side to the front into the com-
partment. The disc will be pulled in automatically.
2.
The display (Fig. 1/6) will show “LOAd”for a short period.
CAUTION:
Only 12cm discs can be used with this device!
For CDs the following status information is displayed:
Media type (1),
e.g. “CD”.
Current track/total number of tracks (2).
Audio output (3):
Pressing the
MUTE
key (Fig. 3/13) on the remote
control interrupts the audio output.
Repeat (4):
- “x”: no repetition
- “1”: the current track will be repeated.
- “A”: all tracks will be repeated.
You can define repetitions using the
REPEAT
key.
Time (5):
Display the elapsed playback time of the current track. The
time is displayed in hours, minutes and seconds.
Pressing the
DISPLAY
key (Fig. 3/12) will hide the display.
When you use DVDs you can display the menu on screen by pressing the
DISPLAY
key (Fig. 3/12).

Time (4):
Display of the elapsed playback time of the current title.
Display in hours, minutes and seconds.
Press the
DISPLAY
key again to show page 2 of the DVD menu.

Output language (1):
Available languages and current language are
displayed.
Type of audio output (2).
Subtitle display (3):
Display shows whether subtitles are displayed
and in which language.
View angle (4):
When the DVD offers the selection of different view
angles the number of view angles and the current view angle are
shown.
