WISE-6610 Series User Manual

Description of the GRE tunnel.

Remote IP Address

IP address of the remote side of the tunnel.

Remote Subnet

IP address of the network behind the remote side of the tunnel.

Remote Subnet
Mask

Specifies the mask of the network behind the remote side of the
tunnel.

Local Interface IP
Address

IP address of the local side of the tunnel.

Remote Interface IP
Address

IP address of the remote side of the tunnel.

Multicasts

Activates/deactivates sending multicast into the GRE tunnel:



disabled - Sending multicast into the tunnel is inactive.



enabled - Sending multicast into the tunnel is active.

Pre-shared Key

Specifies an optional value for the 32 bit shared key in numeric
format, with this key the device sends the filtered data through the
tunnel. Specify the same key on both devices, otherwise the device
drops received packets.

Note!

The GRE tunnel does not pass through NAT.
