Appendix E HDD Module Assembling/Dismounting Guide

Step 4: Connect an ordinary IDE CD-ROM to either one of the two 40-
pin connectors of the IDE cable. Note the CD-ROM requires external
power input. This could be done by a normal PC switching power
supply.

Step 5: Turn on the power of the system.

Step 6: If necessary, adjust BIOS setting so that the system boots up
by CD-ROM. Then install the operating system.
