There are two rear thumb screws for each cage

to secure the

PCIe cages. Loosen the thumb screws and make sure the thumb screws are fully
disengaged.

To remove the PCIe cage, grab the card cage and pull the card cage evenly and
straight to the top. The pull/push direction must be with an angle of 90

°

from the

PCIe connector. You should feel a small

“bump” when the riser card disengages

with the motherboard. Keep pulling the card cage to the top until it is fully removed
from the chassis and put it on the desk with the riser card connector facing towards
you.

, press the latch and pull the card cage at the same time.

Remove the PCIe cage in the same way as step 3.

Remove the blank plate(s) on the slot(s) that you want to install a card / cards by
pulling open the latch
