3.5.2.3
Calibration Flow
1.
Disable the AO channel to be calibrated.
2.
Connect a DMM with a resolution of at least 6.5 bits to the AO channel.
3.
Set the range and enable the AO channel.
4.
Set AO data to 0x0040.
5.
If the reading of the DMM is outside the “Offset Value” range shown in the fol-
lowing table, adjust the “AO n Offset Calibration Parameter” until the DMM read-
ing falls within the “Offset Value” range. If the reading is too low, increase the
“AO n Offset Calibration Parameter” and vice versa.
6.
Set AO data to 0xFFC0.
7.
If the reading of the DMM is outside the “Gain Value” range shown in the follow-
ing table, adjust the “AO n Gain Calibration Parameter” until the DMM reading of
falls within the “Gain Value” range. If the reading is too low, increase the “AO n
Gain Calibration Parameter” and vice versa.
8.
Set AO data to 0x0040.
9.
If the reading of the DMM is outside the “Offset Value” range shown in the fol-
lowing table, return to Step 5. Otherwise, the calibration for this range of the AO
channel is complete.
