Caution: Before installing or removing any printed circuit boards remove all sources of power (AC and
battery).
This equipment is constructed with static sensitive components. Observe anti-static precautions
at all times when handling printed circuit boards. Wear an anti-static ground strap connected to
panel enclosure earth ground.
The AX-ACB AC Board is mounted to standoffs on the rear of the AX-01-BB, AX-02-BB, CCM-01-BB and CCM-02-BB
back boxes. The AX-ACB AC Board is mounted above on the right side of the AX-CTL Base Card in the AX-CTL-(x)
and AX-CTL-(x)V systems. It is mounted above and to the right of the AX-CTL Base Card in the AX-CC(x)-16 and
CCM-01/CCM-02 Command Centers.
Installation (see figure 1):
[1] Mount the AX-ACB AC Board to the four (4) standoffs and secure with the four (4) provided regular head screws.
[2] Connect the provided ground cable to the AX-ACB board ground plug and secure the other end of the cable to the
backbox with the provided washer and nut.
[3] If not installed, install the provided terminal block label adjacent to the AC terminals.
[4] Wire AC to the Hot and Neutral terminal block.
[5] Wire Ground terminal block.
Note: The ground cable provided for AX-ACB board connection to the enclosure back box must be installed
as this is required for proper electrical grounding of the system and to provide maximum safety. Refer to NEC
regarding proper ground wiring to the AX-ACB board. Over-current protection for this circuit must comply
with Article 760 of the National Electric Code (NEC) and/or local codes.
Replacement (see figure 1):
[1] Remove the AC and Ground wires running to the AX-ACB terminal block.
[2] Remove all Molex connector plugs and the green ground wire plug connected to the backbox.
[3] Remove the four (4) regular head screws securing the AX-ACB AC Board to the backbox.
