8. Use the up and down scroll keys to set

This initiates the transmission of a loopup code toward the far
end.
10. When completed use the up and down scroll key or the
number 3 to select
3)TEST PATTERN
.
11. Press
ENTER
to activate the
TEST PATTERN
submenu.
12. Use the up and down scroll keys to select
511 ALL DS0s
.
13. Press
ENTER
to activate the selection.
The TSU always checks for 511 errors. The results of this
check are shown under submenu item

14. When through viewing the results, press the
CANCEL
key
to return to submenu item

and select
NONE
to terminate the test and the 511 pattern
generation. The far end will still be in loopback until the
