Note:
Holiday settings have priority over non-holiday schedules. If the selected day is a holiday,
then the system records according to the Holiday setting. If it is not a holiday, the system
records according to the regular Schedule.

Quick Setup
The Copy function enables you to copy one channel setup to another.
To use the Copy function:
1.
After making your selections or the first channel, click the
Copy
button. The Copy dialog
opens, as shown in Figure 3-38.

Select the channels into which you want to paste settings (channels 5, 6 and 7 in the figure).
The current channel name is grayed out (channel 1 in the figure).

To apply the current channel settings to all channels, click the
All
box. The record settings of
all channels become the same and the Copy button becomes hidden.
4.
Click the
OK
button to save the current Copy settings. You are returned to the Record screen.
5.
Click
OK
in the Record screen.
3.8.3.3
Redundancy
The Redundancy function enables you store record files on more than one disk. If file damage occurs
in one disk, there is a backup on the other disk. Use this function to maintain data reliability and
safety.
1.
To enable redundancy, highlight the Redundancy box on the Schedule screen. See Figure 3-37.

In the Advanced menu, click the HDD Manage icon to open the HDD Manage screen. See
Figure 3-39.

Select the drive from the HDD No. dropdown list. Once the hard disk is full, the old files are
automatically overwritten.
Note
: Only read/write disks or read-only disks can backup files and support the file search
function. You must set up at least one read-write disk to record video.
