Hybrid Standalone DVR User Guide

Video Overlay

The Overlay screen provides options to be displayed over the video screen.

Figure 4-20

Refer to the following for detailed information. After making your selections, click

Save

.

Channel

Select a single channel number from the dropdown list.

Cover-Area (Privacy Mask)

This setting enables a privacy mask for the specified video in the Monitor (playback) video. The
system supports a maximum of 4 privacy mask zones. Check the box for whether you want to enable
the privacy mask on the Preview (Live Mode) screen and / or for Monitor (playback).

Channel Display

Enable this function to overlay the channel name in the video window. Click the

Set

button. A field

appears for you to enter the desired name. Use the mouse to drag the Channel Name to the desired
position.

Time Display

Enable this function to overlay the time stamp in the video window. Click the

Set

button. Use the

mouse to drag the Time icon to the desired position.

Buttons



Copy.

Click this button to copy the current channel’s setup to other channels.



Save.

Click to save the changes you have made.



Refresh.

Click to refresh the Web connection.



Default.

Click to return settings on this page to their default values.
