Your printer is configured to work with a KDU (keyboard display unit). The printer has the
ability to automatically run a single label form.
One or more downloaded label forms can be accessed and run from your KDU to call a label
form.

The labels programed into your printer are invoked via the KDU

(See video on attached

DVD or view at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLN4c2UdUi0

and are in two formats:

•

One Line Label (for shorter names)

•

Two Line Label (for longer names)

1.

The Printer must be switched OFF at the electrical switch

before

the

KDU is inserted into the Serial port

(See below)

2.

The Serial Cable should be securely interested into the port and screwed

hand tight, to prevent the cable from becoming detached during

operation.

3.

The printer can now be switched ON at the electrical switch

4.

Please allow at least 20 seconds for the KDU to initialize fully before

any attempt is made to print any labels.
