When three protection switches occur within 10 minutes, the HXU-358
reports a TMS alarm. The alarm is automatically cleared in 24 hours for the
declaration of the alarm, or it can be cleared by selecting Clear TMS Count
from the Monitor menu (

A TMS alarm inhibits any protection switching between cards
until the alarm is cleared.
Protection switching of the DS3 line is inhibited when this
alarm is active.
