STANDARDS

ADC’s digital aneroid sphygmomanometer is accurate to +/- 3 mmHg

and conforms to applicable sections of the following international standards:

EC council directive 93/42/EEC

EMC directive 89/336/EEC

EN 1060-1: 1995, Non-invasive sphygmomanometers - Part 1:

General Requirements

EN 1060-3: 1997, Non-invasive sphygmomanometers - Part 3:

supplementary requirements for electro-mechanical blood pressure measuring systems

ANSI / SP10

To ensure the reliable operation of this sphygmomanometer, use it in temperatures

ranging from 50° F (10° C) to 104° F (40° C).  The sphygmomanometer may be

stored in temperatures ranging from 14° F (–10° C) to 140° F  (60° C) at a relative

humidity of 10% to 90%.

CAUTIONARY NOTES:

Leaky batteries can damage the unit.

Remove the batteries when the unit will not be used for an extended period of time.

You should not use any tool to open the device nor should you attempt to adjust

anything inside the device.

To stop the operation of your digital aneroid at any time, open the air release

valve as you would on any mechanical blood pressure instrument, and the air in

the cuff will be rapidly exhausted.

Your digital aneroid is designed for normal blood pressure measurement at the

upper arm or thigh on healthy skin. Proper use of this device is essential for

accurate measurement.

Do not inflate your digital aneroid unit to more than 300 mmHg.

If you have any problems with your digital aneroid, please contact

ADC’s Customer Service Department for assistance at: 1-800-ADC-2670.
