The menu can be quit at any time via the key MENU.
In order to bypass a selected password (perhaps only known by one person who may
not be available) without being obliged to remove the internal buffer battery, type in the
digit combination '9999' twice.
If the password is correct or if no password was formerly selected / activated via the
menu (password = '0000'), the standard display screen appears.

The four horizontal text display lines show a history list representing the key sequence
that has so far been introduced (if so far no key was pushed, the display is empty). The
history list is discussed further on in this manual.

Via the button MENU it is possible to activate a virtual selection menu on the display.
