Accessible parts may become hot during use. Children must therefore be kept away from the
heater.
The appliance must only be used as described in the instructions for use! Use for any other
purpose is not allowed! Any damage resulting from improper use and non-observance of the
safety information will invalidate any liability and warranty!
Open the packaging, remove the unit and check that the product is not damaged.
If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact your dealer.
This product should not be used if the cable is damaged or the product has been dropped
or subjected to similar jolts.
Do not let children play with the packaging.
Before connecting the heater, check that the voltage indicated on the rating label correspond
to the mains voltage. 220-240 Volt - 50 Hz.
Do not position the heater where it can be touched by animals, disabled or children, especially
the very young.
The fan heater is intended only for additional heating and temporary use and should only be used
attended and under supervision. Always unplug when not in use.
Avoid using extension cords, as this increases the risk of overheating and possibly even fire in the
extension cord.
When disconnectiong the power plug, please do not pull the power cord. It may damage the
power cord and cause creeping current.
Do not insert any foreign objects into the appliance openings! Risk of injury (electric shock) and
damage to the appliance. The appliance air inlet and outlet openings must not be obstructed in
any way!
The unit should be placed upright; always ensure it is placed on a firm, flat, level floor or surface
for use.
Place heater on a firm level surface. Do not place on soft surfaces such as beds, as openings
may be blocked.Do not use this heater when it is lying on its side. A built in tip-over switch will
turn the heater off should it come out of its normal position..
Do not touch the air outlet grill whilst in operation or immediately after use. Risk of burns!
Use the handle to move the heater.
Do not use the appliance in flammable atmospheres (e.g. in the vicinity of combustible gases
or spray cans)! Explosion and fire hazard !Do not use the heater in rooms with explosive gas (e.g.
petrol) or while using inflammable glue or solvent (e.g. when gluing or varnishing floors, PVC etc).
The fan heater is equipped with a thermal limiter to avoid overheating.
If overheating should occur,
the built-in overheating safety device will switch off the heater.
When the overheating temperature
is reached, the heater will automatically shut off. It will switch on again when the unit has cooled
down.
In order to avoid a danger from inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must
not be powered through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit
that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
Only touch the heater with dry hands only.
Keep the mains cord at a safe distance from the main body of the heater. Do not place the cord
under a rug.
The appliance may be opened up and repaired by authorized qualified personnel only.
Improper repairs can expose the user to considerable danger. Attempts to opened or repair on the
product by persons not authorized for such work will invalidate any liability and warranty!
