FIREWALL 

The  FIREWALL menu is  designed  to  limit  access to  the web  interface of  the  device by  allowing 

connections only from specific IP addresses. In order to activate this feature, just select Reject All at 
the Default policy option and make sure to add at least one valid IP address that can be used to access 
the  device  at  EXCEPTIONS  section.  After  typing  the  IPV4/6  address  with  netmask/bitmask,  

click [+Add IP address] to add exception to the white list. 
If Accept All is selected and an exception is specified, then the device allows connection from any IP 

address except from the one at EXCEPTIONS.  
The  FIREWALL menu  gives  the  opportunity  to  list,  add  and  delete  IP  addresses  and  ranges.  
They  can  be  specified  in  the  following  form:  range  of  IP  address  +  /  +  network  mask  

(e.g., 

192.168.56.110/255.255.255.128

). 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

 

 

 

 

If no exception is specified for the Reject All option, the device will be no longer accessible 
via its web interface. Make sure to add at least one exception when using the Reject All mode.
