Installing the Device Driver
Before you continue, ensure that you have:

Reviewed About Wireless Technology and LANs on page 43 for a
basic overview of WLANs.

Installed the Wireless PCI Adapter. See page 5 .
The next step on the Installation Task List ( page 4 ) is to install the
device driver . A device driver is a software program that lets your
adapter communicate with your computer.
To install the device driver, follow the instructions for your
operating system:
