Installing the Windows Drivers

Removing the USB2connect for Notebooks 
Adapter – 

Windows 2000 only

Windows 2000 requires a special operation to properly remove 
hardware such as the USB2connect for Notebooks adapter.

Open the Unplug or Eject Hardware wizard by clicking 
the icon shown at right, which is at the bottom right 
corner of your desktop.

The unplug or Eject Hardware wizard is displayed. Click 

NEC 

PCI to USB Open Host Controller

 and then click 

Stop.

Then, click 

OK

 in the window below.
