Mechanical Dimensions
The following diagram shows the mechanical dimensions for the AR100. The
sensor’s housing is made of anodized aluminum. The front panel of the housing
has a glass window. The housing also contains mounting holes. The cable is
mounted on the sensor without connector.

Installation
The AR100 sensor unit is typically installed by affixing the sensor to a machined
bracket with bolts through the two mounting holes on the side of the sensor.
Their location is shown in the mechanical drawing in the previous section. Note
that the zero point is NOT the glass window, but instead a distance from the
glass window called the
base distance
. Most brackets will have adjustment
capabilities so the AR100
’s laser can be aimed in X, Y and Z coordinates.
