Chapter 2 Setting Up the Modem
6. The first “Actiontec Home DSL Configuration Wizard” window appears. Read
the instructions, then click
Next .
7. In the next window, select the one of the options by clicking on the circle next
to the text.
• Select the first option (“Preconfigured”) if your
DSL
provider is listed in the
“Telephone Company” list box. (Also select an “Internet Service Provider,” if
applicable.)
• Select the second option (“supplied a file”) if your DSL provider supplied a
data disk containing configuration information.
• Select the last option (“configure my DSL modem manually”) if your DSL
provider supplied an information worksheet. After selecting an option, click
Next .

Note : If you selected the first option in step 8, go directly to step
14. If you selected the second option, insert the data disk into
the computer, load the settings, then go to step 14.
