20.0 Upgrading Firmware

ACTWin must be installed and connected to the controller.

Contact ACT help desk prior to the installation for firmware password.

Caution:

Before upgrade ensure to perform full backup.

To perform the firmware upgrade,

Step1:

connect to controller

File->Connect

Step2:

Select controller from

“Database->Controllers”

Step3:

Select

“Upgrade” and follow on-screen instructions to complete the

upgrade.

21.0 Defaulting Door Station

1. Disconnect Power

2. Set all DIP switch to Off

3. Reapply power

4. Wait approximately 3 seconds, until the door station confirms default completed

by sounding the buzzer

5. Set the DIP switch to the desired address.
